Hayley's project occurred in association with the Canadian Mountain Network. Her research focused on biogeochemical cycling of carbon and microbial ecology in glacial ecosystems in the Canadian Rockies.

Outside of the lab, Hayley enjoys zero waste cooking, hiking and reading.
